Energy

Sustainable Clevedon wants to increase energy awareness and share good ideas. We encourage everyone to take practical steps to reduce their energy use. The Transition movement seeks to reduce the impact of climate change and diminishing world resources through setting goals for energy reduction and local energy production.

Clevedon is a town of only 22,000 people and yet it pays over £22 million a year for energy. We have many old houses and buildings which are hard to heat – but there are things that can be done. Click here for a list of top tips  from The Energy Saving Trust

The Centre for Sustainable Energy (https://www.cse.org.uk/resources/category:advice-leaflets/category:advice-leaflets) has a great range of resources to help people switch to cheaper energy and to find ways to reduce their energy use. The Centre for Alternative Technology also has great information on their website. (www.cat.org.uk)
